DIAGNOSE

Minimize excess nitrogen fertilizer application and avoid overwatering.

St. Augustine lawns exhibit yellowing grass accompanied by tiny puzzle piece-shaped fungal structures.

PREVENT

Decrease water usage and apply sphagnum peat moss or ammonium sulfate fertilizer to lower soil pH.

Begin fungicide application immediately upon detecting symptoms.

DIAGNOSE

Affects St. Augustine grass during late summer months due to elevated humidity levels. Characteristic leaf spots display grayish in color with purple margins.

PREVENT

Avoid applying nitrogen fertilizers to infected grass until the disease resolves.

Use appropriate fungicide treatment.
